UPTET is held for determining the selection of the applicants for Primary and Upper Primary Level Teachers in the Uttar Pradesh schools. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board is the conducting body which is responsible for the entire examination process.
UPTET is a test that comes under state-level test, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board for recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh. If you want to apply for the posts of primary (Class I to Class V) as well as secondary school (Class VI to Class VIII) teachers in Uttar Pradesh then you need to clear the UPTET exam with minimum 60% marks.

UPTET Entrance Exam divided into 2 papers - UPTET Paper 1 would be organized for Primary level while Paper 2 would be held for Upper Primary Level.
