About Exam
Footwear Design and Development Institute held All India Selection Test to offer admission through Footwear Design and Development Institute All India Selection Test entrance exam applicants can get admission in professional programmes in Footwear, Retail, Design, and Leather Accessory Design. Applicants will be granted admission On the basis of their performance in FDDI entrance exam, applicants can secure admission in master’s degree programmes, bachelor’s degree programmes as well as integrated programmes at FDDI.
Eligibility
Applicants are provided eligibility criteria if any aspirants fail to know they may face difficulties at the time of admission. Read it carefully before applying:-
For postgraduate courses
- Interested aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree from recognized institutions/university in order to appear on the entrance exam.
- Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.
For undergraduate courses
- Applicants should have passed the 12thlevel examination from a recognized board or university.
- Applicants must have good skills in the English language.

- The application fee is Rs 500.
- Aspirants can pay application fee in the online mode via debit/ credit card.
Application Procedure
Procedure for how to apply is givenin detail below:-
- Go to the official website of Footwear Design and Development Institute and click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Applicants have to click on the “New User” link and provide all the details in order to create a registration ID.
- Applicants have to fill all the details like their personal, educational and contact details.
- Applicants have to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph as well as signature.
- Applicants can application fee in the online mode via debit/ credit card.
- After filling all the details as mentioned above aspirants need to submit the application form.
- Admissions aspirants will be provided with a unique application/registration number on submitting the registration form which they need to use for all future reference.
Exam Pattern
Exam pattern of the exam is explained here as per thier courses:-
- FDDI Entrance Exam is held in both Hindi as well as English medium.
- This design entrance test will be held only as a computer-based exam.
- Exam question paper comprises of multiple choice of 200 objective type questions.
- The duration of the test will be 2½ hours (two and a half hours).
- For every question answered correctly, aspirants will be rewarded one mark.
- No marks will be deducted if a candidate answers any question wrongly as there is no negative marking
