Mechanical Engineering is based on the term of “Mechanism”. The Mechanism gives the idea on which the law of Physics, Material Science, Environment Condition, and Mathematics are concerned in the design, production, manufacturing, and preservation. It's a four years long Undergraduate level degree program.
Mechanical engineering is a professional program which allows students to understand working with the Mechanisms of heavy tools and machines. The department applies idea of engineering, physics and cloth technology for the Design, Analysis, Manufacturing, and Maintenance of Mechanical Systems. The course covers technical areas like distribution of energy through turbines, transformers, transmission traces, lighting fixtures and wiring in houses. A course in mechanical engineering makes a student gain knowledge and enjoy in the Designing of Electrical Cars, Automobiles, Aircraft and Exclusive heavy cars. Mechanical engineering desires facts of software program used in technical work like computer-aided design and mathematical modeling.
The eligibility for pursuing Mechanical Engineering is to pass 12th with physics, chemistry, and maths as the main subjects. There is another option to get entrance to the IIT's is through JEE (Joint Entrance Exam).
The course in engineering from an IIT will cost about Rs. 2 lakhs. There are some of the scholarships, fee waivers, and loans available for individuals who are not able to fund the schooling.
It is a 4 years long Undergraduate level Degree program. The 4 years’ duration is divided into 8 semesters. During different semesters, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical lab sessions and workshops. Topics cover under each semester are as follows:
Semester I Engineering graphics Environmental studies Chemistry practical Physics practical I Mathematics I Physics I Chemistry | Semester II Engineering Mechanics Value education Physics II practical Electrical technology practical Mathematics II Physics II Programming languages Electrical technology Electronics and instrumentation | Semester III Mathematics III Mechanics of solids practical Applied Thermodynamics practical Theory of Mechanics practical Mechanics of solids Applied Thermodynamics Theory of Mechanics Machine Drawing Computer graphics |

After graduating in mechanical engineering, there are lots of opportunities in various fields of Manufacturing, Production, Services, and Development. This is the age of machines and where there are machines, there is an opportunity for Mechanical Engineers.
Numerous industries in India and Abroad are hiring the engineers. A mechanical engineer fits in all kind of industry.
Job positions are as follow:
Starting salary (depends on different factors) is generally between Rs. 2 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs per year, in the case of Graduates. Paying amount depends on your overall performance and any additional talents you obtain.
A mechanical engineer with 5 to 9 years experience will get around Rs. 8 lakhs to Rs. 14 lakhs consistently and gradually increasing annually.
