Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering is an undergraduate Instrumentation Engineering course. BE/B.Tech in strength and Instrumentation Engineering is a 4-year course. The course provides education in Multiple Disciplines of Electronics, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering. Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering involves the design of devices to measure physical quantities along with pressure, flow and temperature. It essentially focuses on the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Instrumentation engineering is a specialization on the principle and operation of measuring instruments utilized in design and configuration of automatic systems in electrical, pneumatic domains and many others.
Students need to clear one of the entrance exams for engineering courses like JEE Main and JEE Advanced for getting admission. After getting a rank, students need to go through the counseling process by the respective authorities which may also include an interview. On the basis of rank obtained by the applicants, seats are provided. Also, some universities give direct admissions to the students on merit basis.
The eligibility for pursuing B. Tech in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, applicants should have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, mathematics as main subject. independent entrance exams for this programme are also held via various country, central, and private universities which mainly require 50% as the prerequisite to appear for the test.
The average tuition fee for this course from an IIT will cost about INR 1.2 Lacs- INR 3.8 Lacs. There are some of the scholarships, fee waivers, and loans available for individuals who are not able to fund the schooling. Aside from this, in maximum colleges the scholars can earn a small quantity even as working on a studies assignment with the professors in their university.
