Pharmacy

Pharmacy is the study of preparing, dispensing and reviewing drugs. A pharmacist or an individual studying pharmacy ensures the safe and effective use of drugs. Pharmacists are the experts on drug therapy and are the primary health professionals who optimize the use of medication for the benefit of the patient.The role of a pharmacist ensures responsibility and accountability following that the patient depends upon the pharmacists for the medication. Prospective pharmacists are required to have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, a postgraduate professional degree.A pharmacist is needed to have good analytical skills, communication skills,detail-oriented, and computer skills in order to understand the patient's need and communicate about the required medication.
